Kenneth P. Hayworth, 59, of Anthon, died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016, at his residence.

There will be a gathering of family and friends at the Anthon Shelter House from 3 to 6 p.m., on Saturday, October 29. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff.

Kenneth Perry Hayworth was born January 14, 1957, in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Thomas and Vesta (Watt) Hayworth. He attended school in Correctionville, Iowa, and Lyons, Nebraska.

Kenneth married Marie Saxen on February 16, 1990. They later divorced. Ken worked at Kind and Knox Gelatine Company, Standard Ready Mix, and most recently, Mathers Construction Company.

Ken enjoyed fishing, playing cribbage, and watching westerns.

He is survived by his two sons, Justin of Anthon, and Nicholas of Correctionville; three sisters, Karen Mammen of Correctionville; Lorna Dunkelberger of Moville, Iowa; and Lois Ouellette of Sioux City, and two grandchildren, Ayden Hayes and Braylynn Hayworth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Lynette Hayworth and Richard and Vesta Monk.
