Phyllis M. Steinhauer, 80, of Climbing Hill, passed away on Nov. 5, 2016 at Embassy Care and Rehab Center in Sergeant Bluff.
Memorial services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 11 at McCulloch Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home in Moville, Iowa, with the Rev. LeRoy Struble officiating. Private family graveside services were also held.
She was born on February 22, 1936 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Walter and Frances Mann.
Phyllis was a truck driver, an artist, and a member of The Red Hat Society, Eastern Star, and Garden Club. She was very much involved at the First Baptist Church in Climbing Hill.
Survivors include her daughters: Robyn, Rita, Diane, Brenda, and Carol Ann; her sons: Tony, Mitch, John, and Walter; 22 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Ralph Steinhauer; and a sister, Sandra.
