Dawn Young

Dawn Young, 49, of Lawton, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017 after a short illness.

Per her wishes, she has been cremated and there will be no services.

Even though she is gone, Dawn continues to help many others through her gift of organ and tissue donation with the Iowa Donor Network.

Dawn was born on Oct. 23, 1967 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Andrew and Barb Young. She graduated from Las Vegas High School.

In 2000, Dawn moved to Oto, Iowa. In 2008, she met her husband, Eric. Dawn worked at Walmart in Sioux City for the past 16 years.

She enjoyed reading novels, music, and traveling — especially to Yellowstone and the Iowa State Fair. She also loved spending time with her husband, Eric.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband of eight years, Eric Klein of Lawton; her mother and stepfather, Barb and John Eskildsen of Oto; a brother, Paul Young of Utah; and a niece, Christina Bradley.

She is preceded in death by her father, Andrew, and her grandparents.
