Gloria Eppling

Gloria G. (Hayward) Eppling, age 80, of Greenfield, Indiana, formerly of Kingsley, Iowa, passed away July 18, 2017 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, Indiana.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church (29014 Lake Avenue, Hinton, IA 51024).

Gloria was born on September 6, 1936 in Avon, South Dakota, as the daughter of Howard S. and Johanna (Schroder) Hayward.

She graduated from college, where she studied education and library science. She spent her life as a school teacher.

Gloria is survived by her brother, Russell Hayward of Bellevue, Nebraska; and her sister, Verda Johnson of Greenfield, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Johanna Hayward; her husband, Merlin Eppling; her brothers, Wally Hayward and Jerry Hayward; and her sister, Ruth Way.
