Discussion of a possible closure of I-29 Overpasses
between Salix and Sloan
The Woodbury County Board of Supervisors will hold a public information meeting for the purpose of receiving comments concerning an Iowa DOT project involving two I-29 overpass projects, one on Carroll Avenue, and the second on 310th Street, between the Salix and Sloan interchanges. The public information meeting will discuss an Iowa DOT program that would close and remove one or both of the structures in return for $1,500,000 per overpass that would be used for the replacement of other bridges on the Woodbury County secondary road system.
The public information and comment meeting will on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 4:40 P.M CDT, at the Woodbury County Courthouse, 620 Douglas Street, Sioux City, Iowa, in the Board meeting room in the basement.

At said public information and comment meeting, any person present, and so wishing will be given the opportunity to be heard, for or against, the proposed overpass projects. Any person so wishing may file a document with the Woodbury County Auditor’s Office prior to the time of the meeting, should the person wish the document to be read for them at the time of the hearing.
