September 10, 2018
The Kingsley City Council met in special session on September 10, 2018 at Kingsley City Hall. Mayor Rick Bohle called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Present were Councilmen Rolling, Bohle and Jasperson. Mathers and Peters were absent.
The agenda was approved on motion by Bohle, seconded by Rolling, all voted aye, motion carried.
The Council discussed the bids for the proposed ambulance building that were opened on Friday, September 7th at 2:00 p.m.
A base bid and two alternates were included in the bidding process. The two alternates were: #1 Metal Building; #2 Rock Parking Lot.
Resolution #18-11, to reject all bids
was done on motion by Rolling, seconded by Jasperson. Roll call vote: Rolling, aye; Bohle, aye; Jasperson, aye. Motion carried.
Discussion was held concerning ways to reduce the cost of construction.
Motion by Rolling, seconded by Jasperson, to release CMBA Architects from the project. Roll call vote: Rolling, aye; Bohle, aye; Jasperson, aye. Motion carried.
Adjourn on motion by Jasperson, seconded by Bohle, all voted aye, motion carried.
