NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF CHAPTER 368.5 AND 368.7 OF THE CODE OF IOWA, THE MOVILLE CITY COUNCIL WILL AT 6:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME, OR AS SOON THERE AFTER AS MAY BE CONSIDERED, ON OCTOBER 17, 2018, IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS CITY HALL, MOVILLE, IOWA, HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE REQUEST OF RLW PROPERTIES, LLC. AND THE CITY OF MOVILLE TO VOLUNTARILY ANNEX IN ACCORDANCE WITH 368.5 AND 368.7 OF THE CODE OF IOWA THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF MOVILLE:

That part of the Southwest Quarter (SW ¼) of the Northeast Quarter (NE ¼) of Section Thirty-two (32), Township Eighty-nine (89), North, Range Forty-four (44), West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, described as follows:  Commencing at a point Three Hundred Thirty Feet (330’) East of the Center of Section Thirty-two (32), Township Eighty-nine (89), North, Range Forty-four (44); thence North Two Hundred Seventy-three Feet (273’); thence East One Hundred Ninety-eight Feet (198’); thence South Two Hundred Seventy-three Feet (273’); thence West One Hundred Ninety-eight Feet (198’) to place of beginning.
AND

All that part of the Southwest Quarter (SW ¼) of the Northeast Quarter (NE ¼) of Section Thirty-two (32), Township Eighty-nine (89), North, Range Forty-four (44), West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Woodbury County, Iowa, described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Northeast Quarter (NE ¼) of said Section 32; thence South 88°59’45” East a distance of 330.00 feet on an assumed bearing on the South line of said Northeast Quarter (NE ¼), to the point of beginning; thence North 00°51’15” East a distance of 198.00 feet, on the east line of the West 330.00 feet of said Southwest Quarter (SW ¼) of the Northeast Quarter (NE ¼), to the north line of the South 198.00 feet of said Southwest Quarter (SW ¼) of the Northeast Quarter (NE ¼); thence North 88°59’45” West a distance of 1.03 feet on said north line, to the west line of the East 990.00 feet of said Southwest Quarter (SW ¼) of the Northeast Quarter (NE ¼); thence South 00°43’56” West a distance of 198.00 feet on said west line, to said south line; thence South 88°59’45” East a distance of 0.61 feet on said south line, to the point of beginning; subject to highway easement on the south side thereof.

AT SAID HEARING PARTIES AND INTERESTED CITIZENS WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD IN RELATION TO THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION.
