Cushing City Hall – 200 Main St.
The regular meeting of the Cushing City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Mayor Don Joy Jr.
Council members present: Jim Porter, Ray Endrulat, Shawn Joy, Ben Rabbass. Absent: Dustin Schlenger
Also present: Lt. Charles Hertz, Officer Vincent Dvorak, and City Clerk Nicole Huisinga
Motion by Joy, seconded by Rabbass to approve consent agenda which includes:
1) Meeting agenda
2) September 4, 2018 Minutes
3) Financial Statement & Budget Report
4) Claims as Presented

Sheriff’s Report. Lt. Hertz reported deputies conducted 18 hours of Directed Patrols and responded to 5 calls.
City Maintenance. Council discussed the resignation of Jerry Wittrock effective November 1. Councilman Joy will get bids for new tires for the skid loader for next meeting.
Motion made by Porter to approve Reports as given. Seconded by Rabbass. Motion carried 4/0.
• Library Roof Repair. Mayor Joy will work on getting Wiese Construction to come look at roof and give an estimate. Council is also waiting on a few other contractors to give bids as well.
• ISG. Clerk read the email with the updates for the Water Improvement Project. Construction is set to begin in October.
• Trick or Treat Hours will be October 31st from 5-7:30 p.m.
Next regular meeting has been set for Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 6:30 p.m.
With no further business, motion by Endrulat, seconded by Rabbass to adjourn at 7:25p.m.
