OCTOBER 11, 2018

CALL TO ORDER & ROLL CALL:  Mayor Pithan called the special meeting of the Anthon City Council to order on October 11, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at the Anthon Golf Course.  Council members present were Barb Benson, Jerry Boggs, Lisa Petersen, Tammy Reimer and Allison Umbach.  Also present were Amy Buck, Nancy Seuntjens, Connie & Joel Westphal, Deb & Ariel Carman, Jane & Kenny Handke, Tony Collins, Matt Fitzpatrick and Bill Brasel.

AGENDA:  Motion by Umbach, seconded by Reimer, to approve the printed agenda as presented.  Carried 5-0.

GOLF COURSE:  Several members had their golf carts available to give the mayor and council a tour of the beautiful nine-hole course.  Connie Westphal provided copies of the last two years financial reports and answered any questions.  The consensus of the council was to renew the loan with the golf course at no interest with all payments applied to the principal.

ADJOURNMENT:  Motion by Petersen, seconded by Umbach, to adjourn.  Carried 5-0.  Mayor Pithan proclaimed the meeting adjourned at 6:06 p.m.
