ORDINANCE NO. 717-2018
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CORRECTIONVILLE, IOWA,
BY REPEALING SUBSECTIONS 1, 2, AND 12 OF SECTION 65.03,
PERTAINING TO THE YIELD REQUIRED ON ASPEN STREET AT SIOUX AVENUE,
YIELD REQUIRED ON BIRCH STREET AT FIFTH STREET,
AND YIELD REQUIRED AT FIFTH STREET AT BIRCH STREET

BE IT ENACTED by the City Council of the City of Correctionville, Iowa:

SECTION 1.  SUBSECTION REPEALED.  The Code of Ordinances of the City of Correctionville, Iowa, is hereby amended by repealing Subsections 1, 2, and 12 of Section 65.03, which required vehicles traveling north on Aspen Street to yield at Sioux Avenue, vehicles traveling south on Birch Street to yield at Fifth Street, and vehicles traveling east on Fifth Street to yield at Birch Street.

SECTION 2.  SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.  If any section, provision, or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

SECTION 3.  WHEN EFFECTIVE.  This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final passage, approval, and publication as provided by law.
