1. Board member updates
1. Superintendent Report/Elementary Principal Report
Fall FAST testing finished up. Bronson Elementary was above the state and AEA school averages.
Students had a fundraiser for a child in the area with leukemia.
Woodbury County is looking to use money from CF TIF money to improve gravel roads.
Lawton-Bronson was ranked #34 out of 328 districts in Iowa with teachers ranking #4 in a recent study.
2. Monthly Financial Update
Anderson presented monthly financial reports
3. Secondary Principal Report
End of quarter is next week and conferences are also next week
There will be a choir concert tomorrow night with a free will donation spaghetti supper
Tyson Food is providing a speaker from Sports World to speak about positive choices
Veteran’s Day assembly will be on November 11

3. Approve hiring of custodian
Woolridge moved to approve Peggy Miller. Reinke seconded. All in favor
4. Approve assistant speech coach
Holtz moved to approve Emily Klaumann as assistant speech coach. Reinke seconded. All in favor
5. Approve assistant archery coach
Reinke moved to approve Curt Holtz. Amick seconded. Amick, Scott, Woolridge and Reinke aye. Holtz abstained.
6. Approve volunteer assistant archery coach
Holtz moved to approve Jaime Amick. Woolridge seconded. Holtz, Scott, Woolridge and Reinke aye. Amick abstained

Amick moved to approve Brad Larson. Holtz seconded. All in favor
8. Approve resignation of junior high girls basketball coach

1. Approve adoption of board policy
Reinke moved to approve the board policy requiring wearing seat belts if available. Holtz seconded. All in favor

Holtz moved to approve the architect. Woolridge seconded. All in favor
3. Approve SBRC Special Ed deficit
Woolridge moved to approve the special ed deficit and request spending authority of $92,499.92 from SBRC. Reinke seconded. All in favor
