Scott Foster
Scott E. Foster, 56 of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away Monday, November 11, 2019 at local hospital surrounded by his family.
Funeral Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, with Military Honors provided by the United States Army.
Scott Eugene Foster was born February 8, 1963 in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Darla Foster and Dale Beckner. Scott grew up in Sioux City, Iowa and was raised by his grandmother, Mildred Nault. He attended local schools and went on to join the military, becoming an Airborne Ranger.
Scott worked in the construction field for many years and spent some time as a volunteer firefighter in Oto, Iowa. Most recently, he was restoring wood floors for Dan Hannah Wood Flooring.
Scott enjoyed participating in taekwondo. His favorite hobby was his motorcycle, and enjoyed riding with his brothers as often as he could. More than anything, Scott enjoyed spending time with his family, his kids, and his grandkids, whom he loved very much.
He is survived by his three sons, Adam (Yvette Cortez) Foster, Ricky (Lupe) Quintana, and Jose (Teri) Quintana; one daughter, Kinsey Marston; one brother, Michael Wayne; two sisters, Deanna Beckner and Julie Beckner-Strickland; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Darla Foster and Dale Beckner; his step-mom, Carla Bedkner; a brother, Bill Beckner; and a sister, Lisa Beckner.
