Michael Steinhauer

Michael Floyd Steinhauer, 68, of Grand Ronde, Oregon, formerly of Climbing Hill, died Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at his home. Private arrangements are with family.

Michael was born on September 10, 1951 in Sioux City. He was raised in the Climbing Hill area and graduated from Woodbury Central School. He then attended the University of Iowa. He worked for IBM in Colorado and Arizona until his retirement.

Survivors include his daughter, Micky Steinhauer Thompson, and his sisters, Patricia K. Steinhauer and Carol Ann Fitzgerald.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; a daughter, Danielle; and his parents, Helen and Ralph Steinhauer.

    So very sorry for your loss Michael was a classmate of mine such a great guy was always good to everyone we had so much fun in high school we missed him at our 50 th reunion in September but we all signed a card and sent to him. He left many hearts broken but love leaves a memory no one can steal ❤️

    My heart is broken to learn Michael passed away. I spoke with him after Lynda passed away and her brother Jerry passed away. He was kind and I will miss not being able to talk with him and reach out to him.
