The regular meeting of the Cushing City Council was called to order at 6:31 p.m. by Mayor Don Joy Jr.
Council members present: Alex Rabbass, Jerry Wittrock, Shawn Joy, and Mary Tyler
Also present: Dave Carstens, Sgt. Chris Jansen, Deputy Erin Warrior
Motion by Joy seconded by Rabbass to approve consent agenda which includes:

Sheriff’s Report. Sgt Jansen reported that Deputies responded to 5 calls in Cushing last month. Deputy Warrior introduced herself as a new deputy in our county.

Clerk Report. Report given.
City Maintenance. Motion made by Wittrock to go ahead and have Carstens start removing fence and trees at the cemetery. Seconded by Rabbass. Motion passed 4/0.
E911/Landfill Board. No report given.
Old 20 CDC. No report given.
Motion made by Rabbass to approve Reports as given. Seconded by Wittrock. Motion carried 4/0.
Old Business
General Business
• Approve Final Pay Request #6. Motion made by Joy to approve the pay application #6 for SCE for $20359.37. Seconded by Alex. Motion passed 4/0.
• Branch pickup. Council and Carstens discussed how the city would like to handle picking up branches for residents. The council instructed the clerk to look at ordinances and send out a notice in water bills.
• Trick or Treating has been set for October 31st 4-6p.m.
