Robert Glenn Schuldt passed away on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, in Phoenix from complications of COVID.
Celebration of life events were held in the Phoenix area.
Bob was born Oct. 9, 1953, in Mapleton, Iowa, the fourth of five children to Joe and Wilma (Mitchell) Schuldt. He was baptized and confirmed at St John’s Lutheran Church in Climbing Hill, Iowa. Growing up on a farm east of Climbing Hill, he was involved with 4-H and started school there.
In 1971 he graduated from Woodbury Central, where he was a wrestler.
On Nov. 10, 1973, he was united in marriage with Vicky L Harrison in Kingsley, Iowa. To this union a son, Jeffrey, was born on March 11, 1978. They relocated to Phoenix where they later divorced.
Bob worked in the construction industry until his death. He married Paula Hendrixson on May 14, 2014, in Phoenix.
He was a NASCAR and Kansas City Chiefs fan. Having been raised on a farm, he was always surrounded by pets, big and small. Through the local Ski Club, he and Paula enjoyed traveling nationally and internationally.
Bob is survived by his wife Paula; son Jeff (Suzy) Schuldt of Shoreline, Was.; a sister Carol (Doug) Fitchner of Ocala, Fla.; brothers Jim (Shar) of Elk Point, S.D., and Donne (Marian) of Sioux City; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother Steven.
