Dennis Harrington

Dennis P. Harrington, 80, of Indianapolis died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022, after a short illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Indianapolis. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in Crown Hill National Cemetery in Indianapolis.

Dennis graduated from Lawton High School in Lawton and Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan. He enlisted in the US Marine Corps in 1966, and later joined the Air National Guard. He retired from the guard with the rank of Colonel after 34 years of service.

He is survived by his children Kathleen (Carlos) Zendejas, Patricia Sinovic, Eileen Harrington, John (Stephanie) Harrington, James (Lyndsy) Harrington, Colleen Harrington, and Kevin (Angela) Harrington; 21 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers Ray (Pat) Harrington, Larry (Linda) Harrington, and Jim (Cathy) Harrington; sister Joan Rysavy; sister-in-law Nancy Harrington; and many nieces and nephews.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Cletus and Margaret Harrington; brothers Vincent, Gerald, Michael, Paul and John; and son Dennis.
